It's been a long time since i long post and quite a lot of stuffs have happen in the past few days. Shall post 2 major events.
Hmm, prelims is over and now we are getting back our results. First paper i received, English paper 1 section B, 15/30. I actually managed to pass the essay that i anyhow wrote during the last 25 mins, i was sort of happy yet sad. Hell lots of grammatical mistakes in it. -_- As for paper 2, i got a 13/25 for my comprehension and a 18/25 for my summary, in total, 31/50. I was quite happy with paper 2 as it was the first time i got a 30+ for my paper 2. Maybe i can get at least a B4 for my English after all. =)
Second paper was Principle of Accounts. I was praying to get a A2 for it. I could not balance all the accounts for both papers and the only thing can really is the one for comparing businesses. So i was telling "I will be very happy if i got a B3." When Mrs Long gave me my paper 1, i was happy get a 27/40. I actually managed to get this high for not balancing the accounts. So i pray even harder, please give me a 40+ for my paper 2 and A MIRACLE HAPPENED ! I got a 43.5 /60 for my paper and score a 70.5/100 in total for my POA, a A2 ! I did not expect that i score this high because i lost all hopes when i was doing the darn paper, I was desperately trying to balance the accounts and just slam in all the information i have. Really happy about this.
Third Paper was Social Studies. As usual for this subject, i already the result before i get back my paper. The result is always the same, fail. However, i want to see how badly i fail and my paper came. To my amazement, i got a 25/50 ! I actually pass my Social Studies ! I scored a 17 for my SBQ and a 8 for my SEQ. For the first time in BPGHS, i pass my SS. -_- Now i have to pray that i do not fail my Literature as i am taking Combines Humanities and it is calculated in a 50:50 %.
Now i am waiting for the rest of my subject, hope that i am not going to get a shock out of my life. >_>
3 days ago, i took my 'O' level English Oral Exam. I do not know if i did well for it but i know i will pass it. My reading aloud was average. The problem is with my Picture Discussion and Conversation. Can't really describe the picture here but the examiners was laughing when i was going through it. Then on to the Conversation, the first question i got was "What is your favorite subject ?"
I told them "Principles of Accounts" and their eyes were wide open. So i was thinking "What ? Never seen someone who like Principles of Accounts ?" So i talk and talk and talk and the prompt question was "Do you think Science is important ?" Now here is the interesting part. From this question, i talk all the way to toilet papers. The moment i mentioned toilet papers, they were laughing so loudly. -_- So i continue speaking on how toilet papers are been mass produced and the machines that takes to mass produce 5 million toilet papers a day.
So on to the second question, "Do you think everyone should go to university ?" This one, no joke, just plain talking. The prompt question was "How about you, do you want to enter university ?" This part, i asked the examiner a question.
ME: "I have not decided whether i want to enter university. Now i am still thinking whether i want to enter Poly or JC. If i enter poly, i want to enter the Aeronautical course and i heard it is more difficult to enter university by poly."
Examiner: "Huh ? why ?"
ME: "Cause you have to get the top few percentage to get into one."
Examiner: " Ya, that's true."
ME: "And i heard it is easier to enter university by JC....am i right... ?
Examiner: "Ehhh... no. you have to see your GPE."
After this, i speak a few more things and off i go. I spent more than 10 mins in that room. Wow.
Long enough to compensate the period i never blog ? Haha. Just kidding, i was just typing and typing and till i found out it's this long. lol. Got to sleep, till next time. Lololololollolol.

For this whole week i have been actually studying for my prelims which has already started this Tuesday till next Friday. I hope that i can pass the papers, not with flying colors though, because i know i cannot. Not for prelims. For the E maths paper 1, i found it quite easy yet i am not confident whether i can got the answer. For Literature and Social Studies i think i am going to fail. However i hope that i can fail nearing 50% because i need will be just a little push. For physics, meh, i think i can pass the damn paper, now i have to score well in my chemistry to pull the entire mark up.
Just got my Chinese 'O' level result two days ago. The results, another B3, saddening. For 3 time i took the darn paper, for 2 times i was took the oral and listening comprehension. In the end, what did i get ? B3, Distinction. B3, Distinction. B3, Distinction. For 3 god damn times ! I actually almost cried out when i heard i got another B3, Distinction. Since i got another Distinction for my oral and listening comprehension this year, i think that i will go for the fourth time. I must at least get an A2 because i said that i will ACE the 'O' levels. My pride and honour is at stake ! I must do what i say.
Can't really say that i am really an Ace but i believe i can be one. I once wrote

Wrote this when i was bored. As the only thing left for me to do is to take another step forward and work towards my goal of scoring a result for my 'O' levels. May luck and fate be with me. Be Aces.

Had my English papers today for the Prelims. For paper 1, i would say that i screwed up section one and score in section two. Out of the five topics they provided i could not write any one of them. So i head over to section two first and i had to write a proposal. Good one, since it is a proposal i will surely score because i know what does a proposal needs EXCEPT for the poor command of English i have which will surely bring down my marks. I did my section one within 45 mins and to my amazement, i actually 'forced' wrote an essay out.
As for paper 2, it was average. Can't really say it is difficult and can't really say that it is easy. At least, i will score an average score. I think.
On to some gaming news, I just completed Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot. After completing it, this game truly deserve a score of perfect 10. Not only the graphics is good, the control system, sound, music, environment, game play and storyline all blend together very well, making it a game truly worth playing.
Although the ending was unexpected and quite long, it is really a perfect ending to end a series.
When you first play the game, you might find it a bit boring due to the lack of action. However, it starts to pick up as the game progress, story gets more and more intense, unfolding the truth about what really happen during the previous Metal Gear Solid series and finally ending it. Some parts of the game were very emotional (I think.) because of characters dying and getting injured in order to save the world.
Well, it was hell of a fun playing this game. The player will get a codename in the form of an animal at the end of the game. This codename is determined by the statistics of the game like how many people you killed, how many time you alerted the enemy soldiers......As for me, i was confer the title of "Eagle". =D
If you have a PS3 and like games that is filled with action and you don't mind dying over and over again due to some difficult parts, i strongly recommend this game.
I am getting tired, time to sleep.
